April Fools Day is always a big hit at this house. Cara played a gross trick on Gwen.
We checked out the bird sanctuary and saw a woodpecker!
It was a nice early spring day.
We made our annual trip to Aggie Days. We met this big bear...
And went on a wagon ride around the Grandstand and rodeo area.
We got a nice behind the scenes view of where the rodeo happens, and saw the Grandstand from a perspective most people don't get to see.
We learned a lot about agriculture, got to pet some animals (including a lamb) and got lots of goodies!
The next day was Uncle Jamie's birthday so we went rollerskating.
These kids are pros.
Happy Easter! Gwen was really looking forward to a visit from the big Bunny.
Cara was excited too. Here she is showing off an egg she coloured.
We used shaving cream to make cool patterns on the eggs.
But it seemed extra messy this year!
Everyone's hands were stained for a few days.
Easter morning! The bunny came and told us his name was Edgar.
The hunt is on. The girls did well working together.

Uncle Jamie, Leah and Amelia came over for Easter dinner of ham and lamb.
Amelia is getting pretty big and loves her cousins!
We played some snapchat which makes the girls laugh and laugh...
Cara is still very crafty. Here she is making a door hanger. There's no problem tape can't solve.
We went and tried Ringette. The girls both really liked it.
And by the end of the practice, were really getting the hang of it.

Gwen made a card for the Earth for Earth Day. She is very good at recycling.
Gwen and her buddy Hamid had a play date. They have a great time together.

The girls were in the Costume Parade and we were expecting a few hundred people in the Corral. Instead it was a few thousand! The cheers were pretty deafening, the girls said they thought the walls were going to come down when they were back stage from the noise.
We ran into our friends so we posed for a pic with our haul of toys.

Cara has been doing a Glee Club with the lady who teaches Gwen piano. They rehearsed every week and their big concert was this weekend.
It was awesome. Cara was pretty nervous but handled it like a pro. Even led them in a dance number. Great job!
