We started the week out with a nice sunny Easter Monday and took a trip to the zoo. Cara had a great time at the playground. Gwen was napping in the stroller.
We saw all of the animals and Cara loves them. She has started adding "all the animals at the zoo" into her bedtime prayers.
Gwen continues to love her supper. She has now tried rice cereal, avocado and bananas! Always cleans her plate!
Cara has started to get very independent and wanting to dress herself. She gets it right most of the time...but went for backwards pants look this time!
On Thursday we went to the zoo again with our friends Rebecca and Leah. Cara got up close and personal with Sheldon the tortoise.
It was supposed to just be cloudy but it snowed! And snowed hard! We walked around in the mild blizzard and thankfully a lot of the zoo is inside buildings!
Cara and Leah in the butterfly garden. Cara is getting a little fearful of the butterflies...I have been trying to control my fear of them around her but she knows and is following my lead...I'm trying not to freak her out too much.
On May 1 it was a beautiful day so we took a drive to Elbow Falls (near the mountains). Gwen had a great time!
Looks like you had a very fun filled zooey week! Wish we were closer to go with you. One day :)
