First Day of School 2018!
We had one day to recover from vacation and then right into a busy few months.
Grade 3 and 5 looks good on them!
Both got good teachers and knew other kids in their classes so happy day.
Cosmo recovered pretty quickly from our being away - still likes to drink water as it pours on him.

Dad's work had a family fun day at Monster Mini Golf.

Gwen's goals for the year at school
We had Gwen's birthday party in September this year.
We wanted to avoid the November stomach bug situation of years past...
and it worked - no sickies and everyone had fun!
Cara started her season of speed skating.
She goes once a week and is liking it.

September 30 was mom and dad's 12th anniversary and CIBC run for the cure.
Cara and Dad ran the 5k in the chilly morning and had lots of fun!
Gwen was good with walking the 1K...next year we'll all be running 5K!

Her and her friends had the place to themselves and everyone had so much fun.
She wanted a Bee theme this year.
The next day was Amelia's 2nd Birthday Party
The next weekend Gwen and Mom went on a Brownie camping trip to the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre.
We got to sleep in the museum - so we picked the coal mine section.
We got a tour of an old coal mine.
A bit spooky.
It was a great weekend.
Dad and Cara had a fun time too - watching movies and going to speed skating.

Cara's Bday supper and cake (ice cream cake) were a bit rushed she had her first speed skating meet to get to!
She had alot of fun skating.

Aunt Sarah came to Calgary to surprise Mom for her Birthday!
They went downtown for lunch and to a play. A fun surprise!
Next day went to the Halloween store to check things out.
Gwen had to do a report at school about an important adult in her life - she chose her dad!
