Four weeks old - picture(s) of the week!

Hard to believe that Cara has been out in the world with us for 4 weeks! Here is a picture of Cara at our final baby class last night. She was very entertaining since she was kissing her neighbor :)

Cara's first prescription

Cara had a trip to our doctor yesterday because her diaper rash was not getting any better and we suspected a yeast infection (not a surprise since I had so many antibiotics during labour). The doctor gave her a prescription for a cream that should clear it up in a few days. She was so good at the doctor's office, slept the whole time even when the doctor was examining her! The rash doesn't seem to bother her but it looks bad so her bum will be cuter when it is gone!

2.5 weeks old

Cara is slowly learning the difference between night and day. Some nights are better than others, last night was a good night she was only up at midnight, 2:30, 5:30, 6:45 and 8 am :) and she slept in her bassinet not her car seat for a change!

Here is a video we took on her first day of life at the hospital - the focus comes in and out but it is pretty cute how alert she was on that day :)
