First sister kiss and first bottle!

Gwen - 4 weeks old.

We got out for some fresh air this week and Cara had alot of fun in the snow!

Cara has taken to holding Gwen's hand - but not when she's crying!

Cara has also started to give Gwen kisses! So sweet, she kisses her little sister on her forehead. Gwen loves it :)

Gwen's first bottle! She drank it all up once it was at the right temperature!

We got the tree up this weekend and decorated - Cara added some finishing touches with a few well placed candy canes.

She is very into the Christmas stuff which is making it all alot more fun than usual :)

Christmas Party!

Gwen has graduated to sharing the tub with Cara for bath time! They both really enjoy it. Cara still loves helping out with baby stuff which is pretty sweet.

Cara is preparing everyday for Christmas! Colouring pictures of Santa...

...and setting up her nativity set (as well as my nativity set!).

On Sunday we went to the annual General Dynamics Family Christmas Party! Cara remembered the ball pit from last year and we could hardly get her away from it! Here she is playing with Baby Evan (Adam's work friend's new son).

Then she tried this slide - it was all spinning tubes that shot her down at a pretty good speed!

She went down it over and over again!

Gwen woke up just in time to head home again :)

Coyote and flu shots!

Cara, Gwen and I were home "alone" this week. Cara liked helping give Gwen a bath and Gwen obviously loves looking at Cara while having a bath! Sister love :)

On Tuesday we had a visit from a coyote! Since we are so metro it was a strange sight but has added to our list of wild animals we see in our parking lot!

Cara and I went for our flu shots this week. Cara was awesome so brave she didn't even cry! She watched the needle go in her arm, pouted her lip but no tears! The stickers afterward helped too. (I didn't cry either :)

Little Gwen sleeping in her bassinet. The nights are going alright. She usually gives us one good 3-4 hour stretch of sleep then is up and down the rest of the night.

Nanny's visit and freezing cold!

Gwen - 6 days old.
We went to the Dr for Gwen's 1 week check-up and Cara's 2 year check-up today. Gwen was up to 7lb15oz (75th percentile for height and weight) and Cara was up to 32lbs! Two growing girls!

Cara is still very smiley and being a big sister suits her great. She brings diapers at changing time and gives Gwen lots of toys.

Gwen - 8 days old.

Such a good sleeper so far :) although she gets grunty at night.

Calgary got such a snowstorm this week (just in time for Nanny's visit!). It snowed for about 4 days straight and was extremely cold too...-20 day time highs :( Daddy, Nanny and Cara did venture outside for some snow time. Cara loved it and was nice and warm in her new snowsuit.
