We had a few days of visiting to do with Nanny and Papa!
First we had to do one more drive to take the girls to Magic Mountain waterslide park in Moncton.

They got to hold brand new puppies!
They really loved this part.
While they were playing with the dogs Mom and Aunt Deborah had a lovely night out uptown.
The next day we all went in town to see the sights.

A neat look at the history of Saint John.

Then we went to the museum.
Learned all about ship building.

And we saw whale bones - which we just don't see in Alberta.
Gwen encountered a sea turtle!

We also got a look at old Saint John tv stuff.
Then we went to see Aunt Barb!
We had a nice time catching up with her.
That afternoon we had to go see Deborah and the kids one more time.

The next day we headed back to Fredericton to get on the plane home.
Before our flight we went to visit Mom's Aunt June and Uncle Jack - Mom's cousin Andrea was there with her 2 kids too so it was a great visit - the girls and daddy even caught some big bull frogs!
One last coffee with Grampy at Tim's then we were off to the airport.

We had a great adventure traveling around NB and PEI.
So glad we got to see everyone!

The Great Maritime Vacation - Part 3

On our way to Fredericton from PEI we stopped at Nana's country house in Cambridge Narrows.
It was a nice afternoon and the girls had some strawberries on the porch while we visited with Nana and Aunt Joanna.
Since they were in the country Nana told them to throw the tops off the porch into the grass - they loved country littering!
They were happy to see Nana!
Nana showed us all around her house and fields.

It was a great pit stop on that long drive!
Then we drove the rest of the way to Fredericton - we had a supper date with Grampy!
Delicious chicken and salad for supper!
Then it was off to the hotel for a swim in the pool before bed time.
We had a great river view from our hotel room and got to see a nice sunset.
After the sun set...the famous giant Fredericton spiders came out of hiding and ruined the view.
Nightmares for everyone...or maybe just Mom.
The next morning we got up and found a Benton - a small community to the north where Grampy does Sunday services for the parish.  Today was a special day since the girls were going to be baptized.
It was a beautiful day and they ran around in the cemetery before the service.
They also enjoyed the delicious lunch spread after the service!
Cheese!
Baptized!
Took the opportunity to get some group pics.

Aunt June and Cousin It!  Ha ha!
Aunt June and Aunt Joanna came along with Nana...I know that Nana has some pics with the girls on her iPad...I need to get them.

Benton has a covered bridge so we had to go see it!
On the drive back to Fredericton we stopped to see the World's Largest Axe in Nackawic!
That's a big axe!
Really big!
Then we went to see Grammie and Puppa Price in Fredericton.
Puppa was painting an old tractor out in the yard.
We had a nice visit with Grammie inside.
Cara got to have a ride on her walker!

Aunt Joanna had a good time with the girls.
4 generations of girls.

We had a great time exploring the Fredericton area.
After this we drove back to KV.
One more post of the trip coming soon!
