Happy Canada Day & Barrier Lake

We had a great time on Canada Day. We went to Fort Calgary where they had a petting zoo, live bands, pony rides and all around good times for July 1 celebrations! Cara liked the petting zoo the best!

She got along with this goat very well.

We went to watch the pony rides but Cara was more interested in running toward this construction site - she saw "big trucks"!

They had these big inflated bouncing horses that Cara liked riding on!

And this game of Connect 4 would have entertained her for hours!

She got to enjoy some ice cream too! Happy Birthday, Canada!

On Saturday we went for a little road trip to Kananaskis Country (west of Calgary, before Banff). We stopped at a picnic site on Barrier Lake. Cara loves eating in the wild :)

And having a diaper change in the wild!

Cara and Daddy throwing rocks in the lake.

Cara loves rocks! And her Daddy!

Before heading home we stopped by Kananaskis Village and saw this nice waterfall - Cara loves waterfalls too!
