Happy Halloween!

Last week we had lots to get ready for Halloween.
We did a practice run on makeup for the big night - this is Gwen's makeup for Rapunzel.

Cara's dress rehearsal for the Tin Man!
Later that day Gwen was playing in the dress up clothes then went to the marker box to add whiskers to her costume of Katerina Kitty Cat!
Pretty good considering she didn't use a mirror!
The evening before Halloween was pumpkin carving night!
Gwen loved pulling out the pumpkin brains.
 Cara didn't love the mess.
 She just wanted to carve!
Our 3 pumpkins - Iron Man, Totoro and Gwen's choice the Classic.

Excitement was building!
Halloween was a fun day at Kindergarten.  The Tin Man costume was too involved/fragile/not finished yet for Cara to wear to school so she chose this flying unicorn costume from our collection.
They got to do a parade around the school and played fun Halloween games.
For lunch we made hot dog spiders on french fry webs!
The girls made a "5 little pumpkins sitting on a gate" craft.
Then supper was Spaghetti Monster with Eyeballs!
Cara saw this somewhere weeks ago so she was super excited to eat eye balls on Halloween!
Then it was time to start getting ready for trick or treating!
Everything came together and both girls looked great!
The Tin Man with a heart!
 Rapunzel!
She even kept her wig on the whole time!
 Cara got into character quickly.

They had lots of fun getting lots of treats!
The beginning of the candy craze.
And another pic of Gwen because she is cute.
Sippy cups are outta here!

Halloween was so much fun and the girls had a great day.
Next post will have our visit with Nanny & Papa!
