The Great Maritime Vacation Part 1

On the long plane ride Cara used pipe cleaners to make us all glasses.
 Lots of fun!

We arrived to Fredericton where it was hot and muggy.
 And we were hungry!
So off to the closest restaurant - the Blue Canoe!
 Grampy met us there.
 Big Stop Club Sandwich
After supper we said bye for now to Grampy and headed down the highway to Quispamsis.
We stayed with Deborah and Jason for a couple nights.
We went over to see Nanny and Papa the next day and Gwen fell in love with Amber.
That afternoon we were off to the Bay of Fundy at New River Beach with the Andersons.
 Built a sweet sandcastle.

Watched the tide come in and eat the castle.
 Dead crab.
When the tide was in we headed home.

Maggie and the girls having a sleep over.
They all had so much fun together!
So after a couple nights in KV we were off on a road trip to PEI.
We took the long way through Fundy National Park and to see the Hopewell Rocks.
This is a pit stop in the National Park.
We tried to enjoy as many ocean views as we could.

We finally made it to the Hopewell Rocks - a very long drive!
Cara had wanted to come here #1 on her vacation to do list.
 View from above.
 It was a little windy!!!

 And also muddy.
Cara lost her sandal in a mud slick!
 Daddy saved her!
Such a unique spot of the world to see.

 Selfie Stick Portrait!
We could have walked back up to the main building but we were tired and out feet were wet after washing off the mud and we were on vacation! So we went for the tram ride.
This might have been the best part of the excursion for the girls.
 It went so fast!
 Almost to the Island.
Had to stop to see the bridge before we were on it.
 The Fixed Link!
Only a little more driving then we'll be in Stanhope at our cottage for a few days.
Next Post will cover our Island days!
