California Trip 2018 - Disney Days....day 3...Jill and Riley day!

Up bright and early again to be in the park for opening.

We were on a mission to meet Donald Duck and so we waited near the townsquare area for the characters to come out.
We got to hear the band play for all the visitors arriving.

Hugs from Daisy!

Waves from Pluto!

Handshakes from Chip!

Then we saw him!

And we met him!!
For all our trips this was our first time meeting Donald!
We love Donald!

Then we explored some of the park history - this is the bench Walt was sitting on when he thought up the idea of Disneyland!

The girls brought their babies that they bought the evening before - we thought they'd be in the backpack in 5 minutes but no! they carried them all day long!

We went to meet some princesses next.
Ariel.

Snow White

Cinderella

We saw the Mad Hater

Then we rode the Storybook Canal boat ride

such pretty displays.
After we got off that ride Jill and Riley were there waiting for us!

So that started an amazing day of many rides and making lots of memories!

Cara wanted to take Jill and Riley on Indiana Jones...Gwen wasn't into it so she and Dad went to meet some Pooh characters...Tigger!

Eyeore!

And the best guy - Winnie the Pooh!

Cara got a Tigger tail

We explored Tom Sawyer's Island and all of its' tunnels and caves...

Peek of the new Star Wars land they're building!

And we found the treasure!

Space Mountain time!

Then it's a small world

Then we went to see Mickey's house

And meet Mickey!

So glad Jill and Riley could come hang with us for the day!

Outside Mickey's house we met Goofy!
